About Won Kok Restaurant

Won Kok Restaurant is one of the chinese restaurants listed in Los Angeles, California. The business is registered at 210 Alpine St, Los Angeles, CA 90012; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Los Angeles; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Won Kok Restaurant at (213) 613-0700; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, won-kok-restaurant.com.

Budget friendly, fast service (even in long lines), and the food is good for the price. Would I go again? Absolutely. It fills the gap. Parking is a bit tough but I get why they're full. Make sure you go inside to fill out your order first before standing in line then give it to the cashier. A little sampler here.

Good place for affordable dimsum. There was a long line for take-out, but not for dine-in, and we were able to eat some there and got more to bring home. The beef in the claypot was the best dish we had there.

Went there today and left disappointed Beef fried noodles (crispy) - bland and lack some seasonings Spicy braised eggplant - not spicy at all, just tasted like a regular sweet and sour dish. Panda express even makes a better one Salty and crispy fried pork - not salty and crispy. Also found 2 strands of hair on the serving spoon Service - the server forgot to bring our sodas and when I went to the front desk the server told me to just grab the drink from the fridge Takeout orders - server forgot about my takeout order when he served our bill. Bakery items - I’d give a higher rating

I've been coming here since the early 90s! its always been great with the same recipe. day or night come down have some authentic Chinese food and most of all, Pork, Shrimp Dimsum ,rice cakes (shinny puto), Sio Bao , Sesame balls the list goooooes on and on. Dim sum window is outside, resturant is inside just a heads up. enjoy!!

AMAZING food. Love every menu they have and the prices are rather cheap as well! Portions are according to the price though. They often are short-staffed and may be dismissive but they get the job done VERY quickly, and are rather kind and nice when not in a rush hour. The place is messy and dirty as a chinatown restaurant would be. Note that EVERY MENU is DELICIOUS. Pork chops with special sauce and BBQ pork fried rice are my favorite menu.
